History

Cancer Alliance of Nebraska (CAN), formerly the Missouri Valley Cancer Consortium, was founded in 1993. Since our inception, our network of clinics and hospitals has expanded to meet the needs of cancer patients and our physician researchers. Through the successful collaboration of our research team and the support of physicians, clinics, and hospitals across Nebraska, to date CAN has administered 725 cancer clinical trials impacting over 8000 patients right here in Nebraska.

In 2017, CAN was pleased to announce that Ralph Hauke would become the new Principal Investigator, bringing his enthusiasm for research to enhance CAN’s network of physician researchers and oversee promising new clinical trials.  CAN couldn’t be more honored to have Dr. Hauke join the program and we’re excited to show everyone the great CAN is doing under Dr. Hauke’s oversight!
